Behind the glitz and glamour of the Democratic National Convention thousands of volunteers are working long hours to keep the wheels turning. Some volunteers have taken time off work and flown to Denver, and most won’t be attending VIP receptions and private parties. Bente Birkeland looks at what’s in it for them.

Religion Caucus Meets

Denver police arrested several anti-abortion protestors on Tuesday. The same day that DNC officials hosted their first ever caucus on religion. Denver Welcomes 15 Thousand Media

Roan Plateau Auctioned

The Bureau of Land Management says yesterday’s auction of federal oil and gas leases on western Colorado’s Roan Plateau is a record setter. The agency raked in an estimated 114 million dollars from the controversial sale in Denver. But as Kirk Siegler of KUNC reports, that number is far lower than most were expecting.

State Primary Results- Jared Polis Wins
